Welcome to our home on the web! Today, 1.6 billion people live in inadequate shelter around the world; 1 billion of those live in slums. By 2030, it is expected that 2 billion people will live in slum communities.

This year, more than 500,000 families will be sleeping in safe, decent, affordable homes thanks to Habitat for Humanity's efforts.

Locally - we've been building and renovating homes in the Greater Albany Public School District area for more than 18 years. Through 2011 we will have partnered with 37 families including 96 children and we're making plans and raising funds to do more, LOTS more.
