Answer the five easy questions below and mark Yes or No. If you can answer YES to them all, complete the initial application below and Submit it to us.

1. Have you resided in the Greater Albany Public School District for the past year?

2. Do you have legal residency status in the US?

3. Is your current housing situation inadequate?
            Inadequacy may include:

   • Poor heating or wiring, a leaky roof, mold, or other factors
   • Not having enough space for your family
   • Paying 50% or more of your income towards housing

4. Are you willing to partner with Habitat and other volunteers in the community to build your own home?

5. Can you manage your current debt?

How Does Someone Apply?

Albany Area Habitat for Humanity has partnered with the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments Senior and Disability Services for referral services for the Re-Habitat for Seniors program. The first step is to make sure you meet our program’s income guidelines and that you live in the Greater Albany Public School District. If you do they will refer you to our program. Once we receive your referral we will send you an application packet for you to complete and return to us. We will process your application and let you know if your application was approved.
