Welcome to the Albany Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore!

Our ReStore is a discount, retail outlet that is operated by a few amazing staff members and lots and lots of caring Volunteers and community program workers. The ReStore is open Monday through Saturday. We accept donations of new and gently used building materials, appliances, and non-upholstered furniture that we sell to the public at a fraction of their original price.

We established our ReStore in 2001 as a way to build sustainable funding to help support our building programs. As our ReStore grew we also became a premier recycling destination for our community and surrounding areas. In 2009 and 2010 we kept 971 tons of recycled materials out of the landfill.

We know that the growing success of our ReStore and our recycling efforts are making a difference for people in our community and communities around the world. We go to work every day knowing we’re helping to build a future where people live in simple, decent and affordable housing everywhere while we’re helping the earth get a little greener too.
