We Have a Large Recycling Program

Those items include:

  • Paint - We partner with Paintcare of Oregon.
    Check out the Paintcare web site for details (www.paintcare.org)

  • Batteries – We partner with Allied Waste of Albany

  • Candle wax

  • Eye glasses – Partnering with Albany Lions Club

  • Ink cartridges

  • Cork

  • Egg cartons

  • All metals

Contact us for large donations that need pick up service. Due to the high cost of fuel, a small donation is requested for all pick-ups.

2009 = 5,000 gallons recycled / diverted
2010 = 9,064 gallons recycled / diverted
2011 = 12,457 gallons recycled / diverted

Batteries
2009 = 1,662 lbs recycled and diverted
2010 = 1,854 lbs recycled and diverted
2011 = 2,205 lbs recycled

Overall Material
2009 = 942,000 lbs or 469 tons
2010 = 1,003,935 lbs or 502+ tons
2011 = 1,154,210 lbs or 577 + tons
