The Albany Area Habitat for Humanity is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Linn and Benton Counties since 1993. For more than three decades, we have partnered with families, volunteers, donors, businesses, and community organizations to create safe, affordable housing opportunities throughout our region.
To date, we have helped 45 families achieve affordable homeownership and have completed numerous critical home repairs that improve safety, accessibility, energy efficiency, and quality of life for local homeowners. From wheelchair ramps and aging-in-place modifications to weatherization and home preservation projects, our work helps families remain safe, healthy, and secure in the homes they love.
We believe that stable housing is the foundation for stronger families and stronger communities. Through affordable homeownership, critical home repairs, and community partnerships, we empower individuals and families to build strength, stability, self-reliance, and hope.
Today, the Albany Area Habitat for Humanity is more than a homebuilder. We are a housing partner dedicated to expanding affordable housing opportunities, preserving existing homes, and helping ensure that everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
